Role Description The Director of National Accounts – Publix is responsible for leading strategic account management and driving performance of overall sales, share growth, and profitability objectives for assigned business at Publix. The Director will report to the Vice President, Supermarkets – East and will work with cross-functional teams to support and execute the annual Joint Business Plans with Publix in alignment with Monster Energy strategy, values, and customer key business goals. - Manage, coach, and develop National Account Execution Manager(s) - Build and maintain strong business relationships between MEC and assigned customer accounts - Develop a comprehensive understanding of both customer and bottler businesses and identify sales solutions to address business challenges - Achieve sales objectives through collaboration with assigned accounts, internal MEC teams, the Coca-Cola bottling network, and key stakeholders - Develop and execute profitable, strategic business plans aligned with corporate and brand objectives - Support the Joint Business Planning process by: - Driving organic growth and innovation - Increasing sales and market share - Expanding distribution across cold and warm planograms - Implementing customer marketing initiatives - Managing budgets to maximize revenue - Partner with field teams and bottling organizations to execute initiatives, including: - Distribution growth - Program execution - Void closure - New item launches - Pricing strategies - In-stock improvements - Other key business priorities - Analyze and monitor business performance data, converting insights into actionable sales strategies that deliver results - Stay informed on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies impacting the marketplace - Demonstrate a broad understanding of business issues affecting the organization - Communicate promotional and executional opportunities effectively and in a timely manner, both internally and externally - Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer service and business performance while addressing challenges with effective sales solutions - Anticipate the financial impact of business plans on both MEC and customers, and monitor performance against objectives - Quickly resolve business and customer issues by identifying, recommending, and implementing effective solutions - Prioritize and balance time, resources, and competing business demands to ensure timely completion of projects and responsibilities - Summarize and distribute key business information accurately and promptly - Ensure critical data and information are communicated to all relevant stakeholders to minimize unexpected issues - Serve as a professional and positive representative of Monster Energy by modeling exemplary behavior and leadership Qualifications - Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance or equivalent experience - More than 7 years of experience in Sales Management and Leadership - More than 7 years of experience in Sales and Beverage Industry - Proficiency using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - Proven track record of achieving sales success and delivering business results - Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills - Strong ability to build credibility and develop effective relationships with customers and cross-functional partners at all organizational levels - Exceptional time management, business planning, and prioritization skills - Self-motivated and able to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment - Ability to represent the company professionally in all customer and stakeholder interactions - Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data, assess business situations, and develop actionable solutions - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant business applications - Experience utilizing data tools and reporting systems to monitor and measure business performance - Strong capabilities in data analysis, forecasting, business analytics, and financial analysis - Ability to evaluate the long-term business and financial impact of strategic decisions - Understanding of budget management principles and ongoing budget control processes - Experience with Nielsen, reporting and analytics systems - Willingness and ability to travel as business needs require Requirements - Estimated annual salary range: $101,460 — $135,520 USD Benefits - Competitive total compensation
