Quality Control Inspector

CLEAResult

• Act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers under the Mass Save Home Energy Services (HES) Residential Coordinated Delivery program • Provide insights on available energy savings measures via thorough energy residential inspections • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues in accordance with client specifications • Encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers • Travel daily throughout a defined territory in a company provided vehicle

Job Requirements

  • Relevant experience in building science or a related field is acceptable
  • Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst certification is required within 6 months of hire, but will be provided by the company if not attained prior
  • Sign-on bonus of up to $2000 for any candidate coming on board with BPI credentials: BA-T ($500), BA-P ($500), Energy Auditor ($500), Quality Control Inspector ($500)
  • Any experience in residential construction, energy conservation, HVAC, building diagnostics, air infiltration reduction and insulation
  • Position requires flexibility to work evenings and some Saturdays
  • Ability to frequently lift 40 pounds, climb attic stairs and climb a small ladder to access workspaces
  • Ability to frequently crawl in awkward confined spaces required
  • Basic competency with a variety of small hand tools required
  • The ability to fluently speak Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or other foreign languages is a plus
