Role Description As a Sales Development Specialist, you will contribute to sales growth by partnering with Territory Managers, Account Managers, RVP & DVP (Sales Partners) to advance their sales strategies by: - Proactively identifying key players within targeted accounts. - Providing information to act strategically. - Enabling Sales Partners to increase customer-facing time. This person should display a positive attitude and project a willingness to help, while consistently providing accurate information to our customers and Sales Teams. As you develop in your role, you will be expected to: - Possess a thorough understanding of product knowledge, go-to market strategies, and customer service for your assigned geographic territory. - Generate business intelligence for accounts, contacts, and projects to help grow your territory's sales. - Act as a liaison to all of Shaw’s Supply Chain partners. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED. - Must have the ability to learn Salesforce and other Shaw systems. - Ability to work on Pacific Standard Time zone hours. - Must be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills. - Requires good communication and time management skills. - Must conduct oneself professionally both in the workplace and the community. - Accept assignments that require additional training. - Must be a team player. - Demonstrate Shaw’s Core Values: Honesty, Integrity, and Passion. - Ability to travel less than 10%. Requirements - 2+ years sales experience or B.S. in Marketing or related field (preferred). - Experience working in Salesforce (preferred). - Living in the assigned territory - Arizona, New Mexico, or Southern California (preferred). Role Description The Sales Development Representative position is a sales role directly responsible for facilitating qualification of non-member and FBN members to the FBN platform for various business lines including crop protection, seed, and livestock.
