What You Will be doing: - Provide technical expertise to support the architecture, installation and planning of audio, video and control solutions. - Complete documentation with a high degree of quality and follow Technical Services Standards, including: - CAD drawings (flows, plans, elevations, details) - System descriptions - Equipment research and selection - Custom product design - System integration - Research and analyze the capabilities of available hardware and software options. - Design audiovisual systems of various hardware and software components that work together as one integrated system and that meet customer’s specific needs. - Support projects and our team throughout the implementation process. Qualifications - 3+ years of Design Engineering experience is preferred. - Prior experience in the service and installation of audio, video and presentation systems. - Knowledgeable of control systems (Crestron, QSC, Extron, AMX) and DSP platforms (Biamp, QSC, Clearone, BSS). - Ability to prepare, understand, and interpret advanced single-line diagrams, architectural, construction, and electrical drawings. - Knowledge of project financial reports, and the ability to control costs in the design and management of projects is essential. - Ability to read engineering schematics and communicate design intent. - CTS and CTS-D certifications are a plus, but not required with the right experience. Any other industry related certs or training are also a plus (Ex: Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, Shure etc.). Role Description Blew & Associates P.A. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) inspections, documenting deficiencies, and collaborating with other professionals and team members to provide Equity-level Property Condition Assessment (PCA) services. - Perform thorough property walk-through surveys and assessments of commercial MEP building systems nationwide.
