Role Description We are looking for a Translator to interpret written pieces from English to Romanian, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone. - Reading and thoroughly understanding the context of a given material (copy). - Using specialized dictionaries and translation tools. - Proofreading finished pieces of work. To be successful in this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and be fluent in English in addition to your native language. Qualifications - Native Romanian Speaker. - Availability of at least 3-5 hours a week. - Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role. - Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. - Good knowledge of content editing tools. - Familiarity with translation software. - Time-management skills. Requirements - For the first 6 months, we are offering payment per hour. - Hourly compensation is due to shorter and trickier copies compared to other texts. - We count the time our translators spend on researching and brainstorming, as well as proofreading. - Aim for a 10% increment in your first year working with us. - Currently have a team of 15+ translators with a constantly growing translations team.
