Salesforce Developer
Millennium Systems International
We are searching for a Salesforce Developer to complement our team. The interview process requires travel to the NJ office. Upon hire, this is a remote position. New development projects, transforming current standards in a rapidly changing environment. Develop Lightning Web Components for both internal and external (Salesforce Experience Cloud) including CSS and Javascript as necessary. Create working configurations, customizations and integrations with current and future tools. Strengthen Salesforce Instance(s) by working alongside MSI Salesforce Team to increase code coverage, resolve errors, increase proper tests and general development best practices. Generate test cases and perform unit testing for new and fine-tuned applications/code. Identify and close gaps between current and new innovative solutions. Optimize Salesforce as a mainstay, balancing business needs with complex technical solutions. Collaborate with project managers and leadership for all projects involving company data. Address data-related problems regarding systems integration, compatibility, and multiple-platform integration. Act as a leader and advocate of data management, clean code, including coaching, training, and career development to staff. Develop and implement key components as needed to create testing criteria in order to guarantee the fidelity and performance of the system. Document new processes and implementations to maintain a current and accurate view of the developed processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Other equivalent technical degrees, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years’ experience maintaining, supporting, and developing in a Salesforce.com Org with day to day business requirements.
- Proficiency with declarative Salesforce development, including but not limited to objects, workflows, process builders, lightning app builder, approval processes, visual flows, email alerts, communities.
- Experience with Sales Cloud development with Salesforce CPQ, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Apex.
- Experience with Salesforce API and Web Services, API Integrations (REST and SOAP).
- Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background in Salesforce.com.
- Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision.
- Ability to recognize and recommend needed changes in user and operations procedures including participation in code reviews.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking.
- Knowledge and experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud.
