Role Description The Senior Software Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for: - Architecting, designing, coding, debugging, and implementing software features and enhancements collaboratively with the team. - Developing quick prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and product ideas to the team and management. - Working independently as well as with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). This position reports to the Senior Software Engineering manager of Digital Solutions – Cloud platform and is part of the Digital Solutions R&D group located in Bengaluru. This will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: - Understand the overall requirements of the product/platform and specifically for the assigned feature/module. - Design and develop code as per the software requirements and generate unit test cases. - Investigate software/system problems, fix defects, and track them to closure. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (locally & globally) to ensure product releases meet quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and schedule goals. Qualifications - Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years proven experience in Java/J2EE/.Net Programming. - At least 2 years of experience in front-end web development using modern frameworks such as AngularJS or React on Azure Cloud. - Experience working with Gen AI based product development. - Hands-on experience with JavaScript, REST API, Microservice Architecture, DevOps, Continuous Integration, delivery and deployment, and version control (e.g., git). Requirements - Experience in medical device design & development in an Agile environment is a plus. - Understanding of software development processes for a regulated environment (FDA/ISO13485) and experience in medical device verification is a plus.
