As Director, Compliance Advisory, ANZ, you'll lead our Compliance Advisory function ( (excluding AML/CTF and ABC) across Australia and New Zealand, taking ownership of our regulatory compliance framework while leading a high performing team of specialists. Working closely with senior leaders across the business, you'll help shape strategic decisions, strengthen governance and ensure compliance remains an enabler of sustainable growth. What you'll own Regulatory compliance leadership - Lead Zip's Compliance Advisory function across Australia and New Zealand, providing strategic guidance on regulatory obligations across consumer credit, financial services, privacy, Design and Distribution Obligations, industry codes and other legislative requirements. - Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing practical, risk based compliance advice that supports innovation while maintaining strong customer and regulatory outcomes. - Build trusted relationships with regulators and represent Zip with professionalism, transparency and integrity. Compliance framework & governance - Own and continuously enhance Zip's regulatory compliance framework, ensuring it remains effective, scalable and aligned to changing regulatory expectations. - Lead the ongoing monitoring of compliance obligations, regulatory change management and breach reporting, ensuring strong governance and timely resolution of emerging issues. - Provide high quality reporting to the Board, Executive and Committees, delivering meaningful insights into compliance performance, key risks and regulatory developments. Business partnership & continuous improvement - Partner with teams across the business to design practical controls that strengthen compliance while supporting commercial objectives. - Lead the development and implementation of compliance frameworks, policies and local procedures that are fit for purpose and easy to embed across the organisation. - Identify opportunities to improve compliance processes through technology, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
