Role Description We are looking for a Senior Sales Director - Luxury Books & Wholesale to help us significantly expand our global retail and wholesale footprint, with a particular focus on the United States. - This is not a junior sales role or a traditional account management position. - We are looking for someone who already knows the market, understands the world of high-end illustrated publishing, and brings an existing network of buyers, retailers, distributors, museum shops, concept stores, hotel groups, department stores, and specialty book accounts. - The ideal candidate has previously sold luxury coffee table books, art books, design books, automotive books, architecture books, or premium illustrated publications at an international level. - They understand how to position high-value printed objects, how to open doors quickly, and how to build lasting wholesale relationships that grow over time. - This person will work closely with ERG’s leadership team and existing wholesale function to identify, open, and grow the most valuable retail opportunities globally, with an immediate emphasis on the American market. Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in wholesale sales, business development, or commercial leadership within luxury coffee table books, art books, illustrated publishing, design books, museum retail, or premium lifestyle publishing. - A proven track record of opening meaningful retail doors, building wholesale pipelines, and growing wholesale revenue. - An existing network of relevant contacts across the book, museum, luxury retail, design, hospitality, and specialty retail sectors. - Deep understanding of how premium books are bought, merchandised, sold, reordered, and positioned across different retail environments. - Strong familiarity with the U.S. book and specialty retail market. - Experience selling into museum shops, independent bookstores, concept stores, luxury retail, hotel groups, department stores, and specialty wholesale accounts. - Strong written and spoken English. Additional languages are a plus.

Role Description We are partnering with a confidential client to appoint a Sales Director, Biopharma Accounts to lead direct commercial growth across biotech and mid-to-large pharma accounts in the US. This is a high-impact commercial role for a senior life sciences sales professional who understands how to navigate complex enterprise buying environments and build durable relationships across the biopharma landscape. The successful candidate will act as one of the company’s key growth leaders in the field — a true “boots on the ground” commercial operator responsible for: - Developing strategic accounts - Generating new business - Converting multi-stakeholder opportunities into long-term revenue The role reports to the Chief Revenue Officer, with interim reporting to the CEO until the CRO is in place. • Manages sales, service and distribution of the organizations products and services within a specified region or other major geographic area through assigned sales representatives and sales office activities. • Ensure the maximum sales volume and profitability for the organizations products and services in assigned region. • Achieve and exceed all Region revenue, profit and expense objectives by expanding key strategies and maintaining a high level of performance with current customers as well as identifying and developing new opportunities with a focus on the company's Total Print Management objective through the management of a team of sales representatives. • Carries out management responsibilities, including, but not limited to interviewing, hiring, training; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws. • Develops annual business plan in conjunction with Vice President-Sales, which details sales activities for the sales region and sales representatives to focus on meeting or exceeding sales quota. • Uses consultative selling approach, demonstrates extensive knowledge of each accounts needs and industry, market conductions, pricing and competitive activity. • Maintains accurate records of all forecasting, sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities within assigned territories. • Submits all required reports to upper management and corporate in a timely manner. • Attract new sales representatives through successful recruiting strategies. • Actively involved in the development of new sales representatives sales orientation and sales training programs. • Participates and contributes to the professional development and increased knowledge of product and services to sales representatives. • Develop and maintain multi-level relationships within accounts, inclusive of establishing high-level contacts, identify and influence decision makers. • Maintains contact with all clients in the market area to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. • Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations and RFP responses. • Assists with the implementation of new products and services within existing and new clients. • Proactively establishes and maintains effective working team relationships with direct team members, as well as support departments. • Monitors and evaluates changes and developments within accounts, the marketplace, the competition and the industry. • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
