Role Description Client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support and oversee the broader DevOps ecosystem for their client environment. This role will focus on maintaining and improving DevOps processes, infrastructure automation, and operational standards across multiple projects and teams. Unlike project-specific DevOps roles, this position is responsible for the health, stability, and standardization of the overall DevOps environment. The engineer will collaborate with development teams, resolve issues across the DevOps pipeline, and help establish best practices for infrastructure management and deployment processes. This role requires a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Azure DevOps and the ability to work independently while coordinating with distributed teams. Qualifications - EXPERTISE with Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) and Azure DevOps - Experience working within DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines - Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues across multiple systems - Strong understanding of DevOps principles and automation practices - Ability to work independently in a distributed team environment - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Quick Execution, Strong Initiative without being prompted, self-starter Requirements - Support and oversee the overall DevOps environment across multiple teams and applications - Maintain and improve infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code tools - Troubleshoot and resolve DevOps pipeline and environment issues - Implement and enforce DevOps best practices and operational standards - Assist development teams with DevOps-related requests and technical challenges - Monitor system reliability and deployment processes - Communicate effectively across engineering, operations, and technical stakeholders - Help standardize processes across the DevOps ecosystem - Manage incoming DevOps requests and provide guidance to internal teams Preferred Qualifications - Experience with GitHub and CI/CD workflows - Strong experience writing and maintaining YAML pipelines - Familiarity with Agile development environments - Experience supporting multiple development teams in a shared DevOps environment
