Job Summary We are looking for a Data DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join our ML/AI team. Responsibilities - Work on data pipeline on various ML/AI products. - Interface with DevOps teams to build out the pipelines. - Interface with Data Scientists and Software engineers to implement new features. - Improve monitoring and debuggability of the existing pipelines. Qualifications - Experience in setting up multitenant Spark & Kafka clusters. - Experience running infrastructure automation using Jenkins/Ansible/Terraform or similar pipelining tools. - Strong skills in at least Python, Scala or Java. - Experience in cleaning, processing, managing, analyzing & search vast collections of data. - Experience in Apache Spark, Apache Kafka and related toolset. - Some experience with database technologies, knowledge on when to use a NoSQL, a regular SQL DB or a cloud SQL DB. - Team player with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time Location: Santa Clara, CA *Applicants must be authorized to work in the US The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York City is expected in the range of $200,000-$220,000. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Role Description We're hiring a Senior SRE based in Latin America to work alongside our US-based engineering team, building out observability, on-call coverage, and deployment automation for a client with strict compliance requirements.
