• Provides expert, high-level knowledge of accounting and provides technical, analytical, and communication skills necessary to lead a team of experts in supporting health care professionals in superior fiscal management. • Supports development and implementation of financial data reporting, including reports regarding information to meet regulatory requirements. • Leads and supervises accounting professionals. • Produces quality financial reporting and helps ensure compliance with internal controls. • Acts as a subject matter expert and resource to others. • Provides expertise to other accounting positions and department managers. • Assists Accounting Manager in the overall operations of accounting operations. • Directly supervises others who handle the accounting process for which the individual is responsible or has full accountability to lead a group to desired outcomes. • Responsible for day-to-day supervisory duties including staffing, coaching, performance management, and development of direct reports. • Demonstrates understanding of all financial functions and the interrelationship of finance areas within the organization and department. • Delivers accurate, complete, timely results and reports as requested.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a business-related field is required.
- Master's Degree in accounting or a business-related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated progressive accounting experience.
- Experience in a role requiring attention to detail, project management and complex analytical skills.
- Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- CPA license is preferred.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
- Database knowledge is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Intermountain’s information systems and financial processes is preferred.

Role Description This is a remote position. The purpose of the Accounting Manager is to oversee the Accounting Supervisors in Ahmedabad. This position involves collaborating with the US Tax/Accounting Management team to ensure that performance metrics, policies, and goals are consistent across teams.
