Accounts Receivable and Billing Operations Manager

• Own end-to-end billing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across the full billing cycle. • Support recurring, and usage-based, billing models across systems for a variety of subscription, invoicing, and payment term configurations. • Drive system and process improvements, including AI adoption, automation initiatives, and integrations to streamline workflows. • Maintain strong AR health through proactive aging reviews, collections coordination with the sales team, and timely resolution of billing inquiries. • Lead quarter-end write-off recommendations and own AR reporting, including aging analysis, allowance for doubtful accounts, and related GL reconciliations • Support monthly accounting close activities, including contract review, usage validation, invoice verification, journal entries, reconciliations, and analytics. • Support external audit requirements and manage PBC requests related to billing operations. • Support the operational processes for new SKU creation, new product launches, pricing models, and business initiatives.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of progressive billing operations experience, including 2+ years focused on billing and collections in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Experience with automation tools and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Stripe, Salesforce CPQ).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contracts and data sets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial insights clearly.
  • Experience in designing and maintaining internal controls and documentation to support audit readiness and SOX compliance.
