Epic Application Analyst – Epic Security

• Identify, map, measure, analyze and improve clinical and business processes for Epic application(s) • Perform workflow analysis and map critical business processes • Prepare documentation for business requirements using diagrams • Evaluate solutions to ensure they meet business and clinical needs • Translate user requirements into functional and technical specifications • Prioritize requirements based on business needs • Perform system configuration to meet business requirements • Develop test plans and conduct testing • Provide client training and develop training materials • Monitor system functionality and suggest changes • Communicate project status and manage multiple user requests
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Computer Science or related field
- Typically requires 3 years in an IT or clinical environment with business process mapping, analysis, defining business and user requirements, acceptance testing and documentation experiences
- Certification in any Epic Module required within 6 months
- Experience in using applications, operating systems and databases
- Knowledge of Epic and other Healthcare applications
- Project management experience and ability to use project management software
- Ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision, balance multiple tasks, and be detail-oriented
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with problem resolution expertise
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to translate user requirements into system specifications
