Windows Analyst – Specialist
SysMap Solutions
• SCCM Management and Operations: - Administer and maintain the SCCM environment (clients, servers, and components); - Monitor communication between clients and the SCCM infrastructure; - Create, maintain, and optimize Collections. • Software and Systems Management: - Create, deploy, and update applications and packages; - Remove obsolete software; - Approve/qualify software, drivers, and Windows builds; - Automate installations using Task Sequences. • Updates and Patching: - Manage Patch Tuesday and security fixes; - Apply patches according to Information Security guidelines; - Update drivers (Lenovo, Dell, HP) and specific devices (Pinpad, SAT). • System Imaging and Deployment: - Create and maintain operating system images; - Automate system deployments; - Update Windows builds (e.g., 22H2 on POS systems). • Security and Compliance: - Implement and monitor security policies; - Create management scripts (e.g., BitLocker recovery key); - Ensure endpoint compliance. • Monitoring and Reporting: - Develop inventory reports (hardware and software); - Create queries and dashboards; - Monitor Distribution Points. • Automation and Continuous Improvement: - Create PowerShell scripts; - Automate operational routines; - Review and clean up obsolete packages and collections; - Structure recurring processes. • Operational Activities (Examples): - Updating drivers and peripheral devices; - Creating action plans to repair SCCM clients; - Managing technical backlog; - Supporting Windows, macOS, and Android environments (reporting and visibility).
Job Requirements
- Advanced administration of SCCM/MECM, including management of clients, Collections, Distribution Points, and content distribution;
- Experience creating and maintaining operating system images (OSD), developing Task Sequences, and updating/qualifying Windows builds;
- Creation, distribution, and management of Applications and Packages, as well as software lifecycle management and patch application (Patch Tuesday);
- Development of PowerShell scripts for task automation, fixes, and large-scale operations;
- Knowledge of Active Directory, including Discovery Methods, Boundaries, and Boundary Groups;
- Creation of queries and reports for hardware and software inventory, as well as SCCM environment monitoring;
- Experience in troubleshooting, including log analysis and resolution of deployment, communication, and performance issues;
- Management and qualification of drivers (Lenovo, Dell, HP) and updates for devices and peripherals;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields;
- Intermediate English for reading and interpreting technical documentation;
- Experience in corporate environments with a large volume of devices;
- Experience in SCCM implementation, upgrade, or maintenance projects;
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and integrating across IT areas.
