• Apply your expertise in heat transfer and thermodynamics to develop the next generation of energy-efficient and environmentally friendly HVAC/R systems. • Lead modeling tasks for climate and refrigeration systems and their components, including: • Creation of dynamic component and system models in Modelica • Definition of model requirements • Preparation of test plans • Verification and validation of models • Execution and analysis of simulation studies • Implementation of state-of-the-art approaches for modeling complex, nonlinear processes • Initiate new projects and prepare the required technical documentation • Collaborate with marketing, product development and international teams to understand customer requirements from multiple perspectives.

• Apply AI-assisted development practices to rapidly prototype, validate, and ship production-ready solutions. • Identify opportunities across the business where software, automation, data, or AI can create meaningful operational, product, or revenue impact. • Own solutions end-to-end—from discovery and scoping through architecture, implementation, deployment, measurement, and ongoing iteration. • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand problems, define solutions, communicate trade-offs, and measure outcomes. • Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications, backend services, automations, and internal tools that drive business value. • Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, and long-term platform evolution. • Work directly with cloud infrastructure and edge platforms, including AWS and Cloudflare. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system reliability, observability, performance, and operational excellence. • Conduct thoughtful code reviews, uphold high engineering standards, and mentor other engineers. • Continuously evaluate new technologies, AI capabilities, and development practices that can increase team effectiveness and engineering leverage.

• Mobile-First AI: Design and scale the foundational architecture of our native iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin) applications to support agentic workflows, multi-turn conversations, and real-time AI interactions. • Drive the Agent Interface: Lead the implementation of mobile-specific AI capabilities, focusing on low-latency streaming, multi-modal inputs, and agentic state management on the client side. • Own the Mobile Lifecycle: Take full ownership of the mobile development lifecycle—from initial architectural specs to deployment, CI/CD optimization on AWS, and production reliability. • Mentor & Multiply: Act as a force multiplier for the engineering org. You’ll provide thoughtful, kind code reviews and mentor engineers across all levels, helping them level up their mobile and AI craft. • Navigate Ambiguity: Prototype rapidly and iterate on complex challenges—such as offline syncing of agent states and high-volume data pipelines—with little guidance.
