Assessment, development and implementation of programs and controls set in place to preserve the integrity and security of sensitive data and information stored and processed by various network systems. Prevention of data breaches and unauthorized access to information systems. Management of information security. Review client/department information security systems and recommend improvements/solutions. Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000
Job Requirements
- Candidate MUST possess either an active SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance from any US Government clearance issuing authority (TS is preferred but will accept and upgrade those with active Secret clearances)
- 3+ years of experience working in information systems management/ network security

This position requires an active Public Trust clearance. Provide programmatic and technical support in five major areas: professional consultative services, management studies, data analysis, preparation of responses, reports, documents and correspondences, meeting support and policy development/communication/education. Provides management of studies, analysis, response preparation, meeting support and policy development for Health Services Policy and Oversight (HSP&O). Provides direct Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Expert Writing support services to the Acting Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (HA) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for HSP&O, and/or their Policy Directors. The Conference and Events Specialist is responsible for planning and executing conferences as well as small to large-scale events, both internally and externally. This encompasses ideation through onsite delivery and post-event wrap-up. This role ensures event logistics run smoothly, cross-functional teams remain aligned, and all stakeholders, from internal departments to external partners, are informed and prepared at every stage.
