Job Description Role Overview: As a Kdb+/Q Engineer within our Global Trading Applications team, you will design and build data and analytics platforms that power trading and quantitative research across global markets. Working closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers, you will develop high-performance solutions for real-time and historical market data at significant scale. This role offers the opportunity to work on a large-scale Kdb+/Q environment supporting critical trading, research, and analytics workflows. Responsibilities: - Design and build high-performance Kdb+/Q platforms that support real-time research, streaming - analytics, and trading workflows across global markets - Partner directly with traders, quantitative researchers, and engineers to deliver technology that drives - business outcomes - Develop scalable solutions for large-scale market data, time-series analytics, and distributed computing - challenges - Contribute to the architecture and evolution of our Global Trading Applications platform, which supports - trading, data, and analytics workflows across the firm - Drive engineering excellence through thoughtful design, automation, and operational best practices Qualifications: - Strong experience developing production applications using Kdb+/Q at scale - Experience building market data, analytics, electronic trading, or quantitative research platforms - Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ - Strong Linux and distributed systems knowledge - Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and front-office stakeholders - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field In accordance with applicable law, the base salary range for this role is $175,000 to $350,000. In addition, the employee who fills this role will be eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive compensation program, as well as a wide array of benefit programs, such as medical and life insurance, retirement and tax-free savings plans, and access to other healthcare programs. • Build scalable, high-performance data infrastructure • Design and maintain real-time and batch data pipelines using Kafka, Databricks, and Snowflake • Develop reliable data solutions for business-critical reporting and analytics • Build AI-powered data experiences for data exploration and analysis • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytics-ready datasets • Design and optimize modern data models (Star Schema, Data Vault) • Drive best practices for data engineering and mentor teammates • Collaborate in an agile environment to support evolving business needs

• Build and maintain complex data pipelines using AWS Glue, Step Functions, or Databricks Workflows. • Implement modular data structures using advanced modeling techniques such as Medallion Architecture and Dimensional Modeling. • Manage scalable data storage solutions using AWS S3 as the primary landing zone and data lake foundation. • Optimize storage formats (Delta, Iceberg, Parquet) and compute performance to ensure high-throughput and cost-effective processing. • Develop and deploy real-time ingestion pipelines using AWS Kinesis or Kafka. • Own end-to-end data validation and QA by building automated data quality checks directly into the ETL/ELT pipelines. • Engineer ML-ready datasets and manage Feature Stores to support the Data Science team. • Mentor junior engineers in coding best practices, SQL optimization, and Python development. • Collaborate closely with Product and ML teams to translate architectural designs into functional code.

Qualifications - Ensino superior completo em Tecnologia da Informação, Engenharia ou áreas correlatas. - Experiência com engenharia de dados e desenvolvimento de pipelines ETL/ELT. - Proficiência em Python e SQL avançado. - Experiência com Spark e Databricks. - Conhecimento em arquitetura Lakehouse/Data Lake. - Vivência com ferramentas de orquestração como Apache Airflow. - Conhecimento em modelagem de dados analíticos (Star Schema, Snowflake, OBT, entre outros). - Experiência com dbt para transformação e modelagem de dados. - Experiência com ferramentas de ingestão e integração de dados (ex: Azure Data Factory, Airbyte). - Git e boas práticas de desenvolvimento. Requirements - Experiência em Azure Cloud. - Vivência com Power BI e ambientes analíticos. - Experiência com CI/CD, observabilidade e qualidade de dados.
