Traffic Technician
AMT Engineering
Role Description A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking a Traffic Technician to join our Traffic Engineering team in one of our Mid-Atlantic office locations. Location can be flexible for the right candidate. - Install and retrieve intrusive (rubber tubes) and non-intrusive (video cameras) traffic counting equipment. - Perform site visits to document conditions. - Perform manual vehicle-occupancy counts and parking surveys. - Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs as needed. - Must be willing to travel regionally within MD, WV, VA, and NC. - Night work may occasionally be required. Qualifications - 0-5 years’ experience, willing to train. - Must have clean driving record. Must pass background check. - Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. of equipment. - Must be capable of performing outdoor work that requires physical strength and stamina to endure extreme heat, cold, and other conditions. - Required to run, stop, kneel, and crouch at job sites. - Computer / Microsoft Office savvy.
