Testing Technician – BES

• Assist developers with evaluating software developed for veterans' affairs • Help build a test plan with test cases based on user stories • Help generate data and execute test cases to see how the software performs • Document the results and communicate defects to the development team
Job Requirements
- Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must Live in the US and have maintained a permanent residence in the US for at least the last 3 consecutive years (36 months)
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Experience with test methodologies, QA process, and the software release cycle
- Knowledge of release procedures and software defect tracking
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
- Ability to apply appropriate test methodologies including writing test plans and test cases
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with Selenium
- Experience in an Agile working environment
- Knowledge of Operating Systems and networking
