Role Description Serious Development is a boutique healthcare strategy, product, and software engineering firm. We partner with healthcare organizations to solve complex operational challenges through thoughtfully designed custom software. We are actively seeking a full-stack Software Engineer to help us build HealthTech apps and systems for our clients by contributing as a member of one of our agile engineering teams. You'll implement scalable microservices that will work in concert together as applications. Additionally, you'll: - Shape pieces of the technical architecture - Integrate our applications with ML & third-party technologies - Enhance existing features - Participate in code reviews - Help ensure that the team is delivering high quality code - Optimize existing systems - Become an SME and owner of some of the services and systems that you helped implement Overall, you'll contribute your experience to make your team and the department stronger. Qualifications - Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar engineering major - 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, excluding internships - Experience engineering in Linux and/or MacOS environments - Experience engineering a SaaS product/platform - Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Requirements - Authorization to work in Brazil, Guatemala, or other LatAm country Company Description

• Working on major Konnect features like Catalog and Context Mesh. • Building highly visible Konnect features using latest frontend frameworks like Vue and TypeScript • Collaborate with design and build reusable, scalable, responsive UI components • Work with engineers, product managers and designers to build UI functionalities. • Write tests (unit, component, regression, smoke) using Playwright, Vitest and other modern testing frameworks with great code coverage. • Peer reviewing team members' work. • Mentor other team members.

• Own a TnT subdomain: Take technical responsibility for a component—whether it's our OAuth/SSO flows, audit logging infrastructure, telemetry ingestion pipelines, or fine-grained permissions model. • Drive features end-to-end: Write design docs, get alignment, implement, test, deploy, and monitor your work in production. • Build for enterprise reliability: Design with observability, rollback paths, and incremental delivery in mind. Participate in on-call and postmortems. • Collaborate across functions: Work directly with Product and Design to scope and prioritize work. Communicate clearly and async-first. • Grow as an engineer: Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and technical standards. Receive and give constructive feedback within the team.

• Responsible for designing scalable software architectures and developing robust, maintainable code across the full stack • Collaborate closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions • Partner with user experience designers to ensure intuitive and accessible interfaces • Rigorously test software to ensure quality, performance, and reliability • Guide junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional team success
