At Daybreak Health, you'll be part of a movement dedicated to removing barriers to care and empowering young people to thrive emotionally and mentally. We're seeking compassionate, licensed mental health clinicians to provide teletherapy to students ages 11-24 throughout California. In this role, you'll deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while working alongside schools, families, and community partners to help students thrive. - Two Ways to Work at Daybreak: - Option 1: 1099 Independent Contractor (Most Popular) - $75–$90 per session, based on weekly caseload volume - Paid intake assessments - Paid no-shows and late cancellations - $5 Bilingual session differential available for every session - $340 paid onboarding training stipend - Free continuing education credits year-round - Malpractice insurance included - Biweekly pay — Daybreak handles all billing - Flexible caseload: Start with just 5 sessions per week, see as many clients as you'd like - Option 2: W-2 Opportunity (For Clinicians Seeking Benefits) - Base salary of approximately $55,000/year with the opportunity to earn over $115,000 annually through monthly session bonuses ($70 per session beyond 17/week) - Comprehensive health coverage — Daybreak covers up to 90% of your monthly medical premium (monthly dental and vision premiums fully covered); 65% coverage for eligible dependents - Work-life balance — 11 paid holidays, 4 mental health days, and 60 hours of PTO per year - 401(k) plan - Professional support — Clinical guidance from experienced team leads and a clinical director to help you meet and exceed your goals At Daybreak, flexibility isn't just a perk, it's part of how we work. - Flexibility & Clinical Support (Both Roles) - Fully Remote: Work from anywhere in the U.S. - Flexible Schedule: Set your hours Monday–Friday, 3–8 PM PST, with optional weekend availability from 9 AM–5 PM PST - Administrative Support: We handle billing, credentialing, and scheduling—so you can focus on care - Supportive Clinical Community: Peer consultation, collaborative networks, and team discussions - Professional Development: Continuing education credits and ongoing training - Role & Responsibilities - Foster strong, supportive relationships with youth to create a safe therapeutic environment - Provide evidence-based individual teletherapy to youth ages 11–24 experiencing mild-to-moderate mental health conditions - Provide psychoeducation to parents/caregivers Qualifications - Licensed Professional with LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or LP credentials in the State of California - Passion for youth mental health: Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally responsive, equitable care that honors diverse backgrounds and experiences - Experience working with teens and youth ages 11-24 in clinical or school settings - Comfortable with telehealth: Experience providing telehealth services Our Commitment to Diversity Daybreak Health is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
