Job Description

Clinical Applications Specialist, Ultrasound Radiology

Boston Imaging - A Samsung Company

• Responsible for providing clinical and technical expertise during the sales process for Ultrasound. • Work closely with assigned Sales Representatives, Dealers, and Channel Sales Manager to support the growth and needs of the business. • Deliver clinical and technical instruction during the ultrasound sales cycle and post-sale process to internal and external customers, including on-site visits with physicians and sonographers. • Conduct professional ultrasound product demonstrations and post-installation training to customers’ clinical staff. • Persuasively demonstrate and communicate the clinical and operational advantages of the system to end-users, influencing purchasing decisions and driving adoption through consultative selling and expertise. • Provide clinical and technical support at trade shows and professional conferences. • Collaborate with the product management and service teams to share field feedback and improve product performance. • Support the sales and service teams with clinical expertise and customer engagement strategies. • Monitor customer satisfaction post-installation and proactively address concerns. • Ensure escalation situations are managed and resolved promptly and professionally. • Assist with basic on-site troubleshooting to resolve service-related issues quickly. • Responsible for booking travel and filing expense reports in a timely manner. • Responsible for completing customer demo and installation documentation in Salesforce.

Job Requirements

  • RDMS certification required; must possess excellent knowledge of the technical and clinical aspects of diagnostic ultrasound.
  • RVT required.
  • RDCS certification desired.
  • 6-10 years of clinical ultrasound experience in General Imaging, Vascular, OB/GYN, Point of Care, and Musculoskeletal is required.
  • Experience with Elastography, Fusion, and CEUS a plus.
  • Must be able to be compliant with hospital credentialing requirements.
  • Skilled in 2D and Color Doppler across applications.
  • Prior commercial experience as a Clinical Applications Specialist in the Radiology Market is preferred.
  • Strong market knowledge and competitive mindset.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customers.
  • Must be self-motivated, results-oriented and team-focused.
  • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
