• Support multiple engineering projects across AI-powered applications, SaaS platforms, and cloud-native solutions • Build services, APIs, automation and internal tools • Run cloud infrastructure, deployments, observability and production operations • Deploy and troubleshoot ECS Fargate workloads, including task definitions, services, load balancers, IAM roles, logs, scaling and deployment behavior • Handle IAM, least privilege, secrets, logs, metrics, alarms, failed deployments, configuration issues, networking problems and runtime incidents
Job Requirements
- Builds application software and owns the infrastructure behind it
- Uses AI as a default development and troubleshooting workflow
- Cares about reliability, security, automation, observability and maintainability
- Strong fullstack or backend engineering experience, especially with TypeScript; able to build production services, APIs, scripts, tools and automation
- Strong IaC and AWS or similar cloud experience, ideally AWS CDK with TypeScript, across containers, ECS Fargate, networking, IAM, secrets, DNS, storage, databases, queues and runtime configuration
- Hands-on use of Claude Code, Codex or similar advanced AI tools; Copilot-style autocomplete is not enough

Role Description We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our Core Infrastructure team. Our infrastructure team is the backbone for Promova and several internal products. We build reliable, cost-aware infrastructure that lets engineering teams ship without fighting their tooling. - Own the platform across AWS, Hetzner, Cloudflare, Kubernetes, and modern platform tooling. - Design infrastructure that scales, improve reliability, automate manual processes, and build the foundation for AI features. - Standardize infrastructure across products, bring in automation, enhance developer experience, and influence architecture decisions. - Support AI workloads and integrate AI into engineering workflows. What You'll Work On - Own and evolve Promova's core infrastructure across AWS, Hetzner, and Cloudflare. - Design, build, and maintain Infrastructure as Code with Terraform. - Build and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and self-hosted runners. - Manage and optimize Kubernetes (K3s) and AWS ECS environments. - Improve reliability, observability, and incident response with Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and related tooling. - Support the infrastructure behind our AI features and internal platforms. - Improve cloud cost visibility and reduce spending where appropriate. - Build provisioning and onboarding automation to ease developers' lives. - Strengthen platform security through secrets management, access control, and solid infrastructure practices. - Collaborate with fellow infrastructure engineers and help shape engineering standards across teams. Qualifications - 4+ years as a DevOps, Platform, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineer. - Strong hands-on experience with AWS and modern cloud infrastructure. - Solid Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Terraform, Ansible. - Experience running Kubernetes in production. - Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Argo CD. - Comfortable with Docker and Linux administration. - Experience with observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki. - Experience with secrets management such as Vault or AWS Secrets Manager. - Strong scripting skills (Bash and/or Python). - An ownership mindset, good judgment, and clear communication. - Experience mentoring teammates or leading infrastructure work is a plus.
