• Conduct online reviews to verify the accuracy and consistency of test booklet content • Check materials against established style and publishing requirements, including: Chicago, AP, and APA style guidelines • Ensure adherence to State Department of Education publishing requirements • Follow client-specific style rules

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or a related field
  • Minimum of one year of proofreading or quality-control experience in a professional environment
  • Exceptional command of the English language, with excellent listening, writing, and oral communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and proofing requests under high-pressure daily deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Word and experience using “Track Changes”
