Senior Project Manager – Professional Services, Technology Solutions

• Lead and deliver enterprise implementation projects simultaneously across Integration, Analytics, Managed Services, or Syncrofy business units. • Own project planning, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, resource allocation, execution, issue management, risk mitigation, and executive reporting. • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer executives, business stakeholders, and technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle. • Lead project kickoff meetings, steering committee meetings, executive status reviews, and customer governance sessions. • Draft and format core project deliverables, including comprehensive project plans, status reports, project charters, and meeting minutes. • Create and maintain visual project documentation, such as Gantt charts and process workflows, to track milestones and dependencies. • Organize and control document versions, ensuring the latest updates are securely stored and accessible in the team's central repository. • Compile and archive project closure documentation, capturing key lessons learned and final deliverables for future reference. • Manage and resolve complex, high-priority project escalations by analyzing root causes, engaging cross-functional stakeholders, and implementing swift mitigation strategies to keep project timelines and deliverables on track. • Monitor project risks proactively to identify potential bottlenecks and trigger early intervention protocols before critical impacts occur. • Evaluate incoming operational, technical, or resource escalations based on severity, urgency, and downstream impact on milestones. • Convene cross-functional teams, executives, and external vendors to orchestrate rapid, collaborative problem-solving sessions. • Draft and deliver transparent updates regarding incident status, root-cause analyses, and action plans to key leaders and affected clients. • Authorize and deploy immediate workarounds or long-term structural changes to minimize downtime and prevent reoccurrence. • Record all escalation lifecycles in tracking logs to build a knowledge base and improve future standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Manage and lead internal and customer delivery teams consisting of technical and non-technical resources. • Manage project scope while ensuring successful delivery against contractual commitments, timelines, budgets, and customer expectations. • Identify delivery risks early and develop mitigation strategies before they impact project success. • Coordinate multiple third-party vendors and customer technical resources. • Drive continuous improvement across project management processes, documentation, governance, and delivery methodologies. • Track project financials including budget, utilization, project profitability, change requests, and forecasting.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of enterprise Project or Program Management experience in a professional services, consulting, or client-facing enterprise environment.
- PMP Certification required
- Extensive experience authoring, maintaining, and governing the complete lifecycle of formal project management artifacts, ensuring seamless transitions from project initiation to operational handover.
- Advanced proficiency in maintaining dynamic project governance artifacts, including multi-variable Risk Registers, RAID logs, Change Management Logs, and critical path Gantt charts.
- Proven experience leading enterprise implementations for external customers exceeding $1M in project value.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent customer implementations.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working directly with Fortune 500 customers.
- Strong background in managing vendor contracts, third-party risk, budget forecasting, and commercial profitability (P&L accountability).
- Demonstrated success managing globally distributed delivery teams.
- Exceptional emotional intelligence, diplomatic negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain composure under intense client scrutiny.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and customer-facing communication skills.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate effectively with architects, developers, and executive leadership.
- Basic understanding of modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), AI/ML lifecycles (MLOps), and integration architectures.
