Functional Testing Specialist
Extractta
• Plan, design and execute functional and integration tests on Web, Mobile, API and batch systems. • Define and implement functional testing strategies, ensuring requirement coverage. • Develop and maintain test scenarios and test cases aligned with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, BDD, TDD). • Document and map service transactions, application flows and critical routines. • Create and manage test data sets for functional testing. • Support user acceptance and validation activities with users and business areas. • Analyze and log defects, creating a known-issues repository. • Produce specialized test execution and monitoring reports. • Work in banking automation labs, validating interfaces, self-service channels and critical applications.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in the area is required.
- Higher education degree in IT or related fields.
- Experience in planning and structuring test maturity.
- Functional testing for Web, APIs, Mobile and Batch.
- Agile methodologies applied to QA (Scrum/Kanban).
- Tools: Postman, Newman, Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber, JUnit and Jasmine.
- Creation and maintenance of non-production test environments.
- Knowledge of test types and levels (unit, integration, system, regression and acceptance).
- White-box, black-box and gray-box testing.
- Banking automation platforms on Linux and Windows environments.
- BDD and TDD methodologies.
- Test execution reporting and monitoring.
- Service/interface virtualization for integration simulation.
- Execution of batch processing and Mainframe routines.
