Asset Management Specialist, Cascade Experience
Orbital Engineering, Inc.
• Support the implementation of DNV Cascade 4 utility asset management software • Support the development, execution, and ongoing management of utility asset management programs • Serve as the primary technical and programmatic point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring alignment with client goals and operational priorities • Support clients with long‑term asset management planning efforts and program optimization • Develop training materials and best practices for client Asset Management programs • Develop and implement asset management strategies, policies, and procedures • Train new users in the utilization of Cascade Asset Management software • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records, including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance history • Manage asset inventory and ensure that all assets are properly accounted for • Develop and implement asset maintenance schedules and procedures • Monitor and report on asset performance and utilization • Develop and implement asset disposal policies and procedures • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards • Provide guidance and support to other departments on asset management issues
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year ABET accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in electric utility asset management or related field
- Computer proficiency in DNV Cascade, Microsoft Office products, and business enterprise software
- Experience or basic knowledge of concepts in the electric utility industry, including utility engineering, construction and maintenance standards
- Understanding of basic engineering theories and principles
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work on multiple projects and effectively communicate project status
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
