Vice President, Financial Planning & Analytics

• Lead end-to-end planning, forecasting, and rolling forecast processes across the company. • Serve as the primary finance partner to functional leaders. • Own the planning calendar, cadence, and cross-functional alignment. • Establish consistent assumptions, frameworks, and ROI evaluation methods. • Build centralized BI capabilities supporting executive dashboards, operational metrics, and board-level reporting. • Define and maintain the company’s core operating metrics. • Drive proactive scenario modeling and resource tradeoff analysis to support leadership decisions. • Ensure alignment, data integrity, and common metric definitions across teams. • Own automation and reduce dependency on manual Excel-based processes. • Ensure consistency across weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance views. • Lead and develop the FP&A team and support analytics partners across functional teams. • Partner with CFO in identifying and quantifying AI efficiency and growth opportunities across the company.
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in FP&A, business intelligence, or analytics functions.
- 8+ years of proven experience leading and developing a team internally and cross-functionally.
- Prior Software/SaaS experience required. Public company experience preferred. Adaptive Insights and Tableau experience preferred.
- Experience supporting executive and board-level reporting and decision-making.

You will: • Spend 5–6+ hours per day on the phone • Follow up relentlessly • Negotiate directly with sellers • Send offers and contracts • Track your KPIs daily • Work nights/weekends when a hot deal requires it This is a performance environment. • Develop and maintain dynamic, driver-based financial models to support business decisions, scenario planning, cash forecasting, and long-range strategic planning • Partner closely with executive leadership to translate company strategy into actionable financial plans • Own the budgeting and forecasting process (annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and rolling forecasts) • Lead monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and KPI dashboards for leadership • Implement and optimize financial planning tools and reporting automation to improve data accuracy and efficiency • Serve as a strategic thought partner to department leaders, helping them understand financial performance and make informed decisions • Conduct in-depth ad-hoc financial analysis to evaluate new business opportunities • Identify risks and opportunities proactively and provide mitigation strategies to leadership
