Field Service Engineer
FMH Conveyors
• To install and maintain FMH Conveyors range of products on Customer sites in accordance with customer’s needs and requirements. • Travel to customer sites to install and maintain all FMH conveyors range of products. • Travel to customer sites to maintain other products within the Duravant Group whenever necessary. • Train customers on the use of equipment • Train customer technicians on service and maintenance of the equipment. • To carry out all jobs in a safe way, ensuring adherence to Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments. • To complete detailed site work reports on pause or completion of works. • Ensure compliance with all associated standards. • Complete expenses reporting in accordance with the company procedures. • Maintain a record of time worked, time for travel, etc. • Strive to exhibit Duravant Core Values.
Job Requirements
- Experience of working in a Field Service role
- Experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance and installation
- Ability to travel both nationally and internationally
- Excellent communication skills and at all levels
- Adhere to the company appearance code as per the Employee Handbook
- Open to learning new skills and able to ask for help
- Full driving licence
- A good command of English both written and verbal
- Good level of mechanical fitting skills
- Good level of electrical engineering skills
- Basic level of controls systems and PLC’s
- Basic level of welding skill
- Apprenticeship in Engineering
- Training in site safety
- Forklift licence
- MEWP Licence
