Power Systems Assessor
K2M Design
• Individual with personal responsibility for a variety of projects, including scheduling and budgeting • Responsible for work on substantial, continuing service accounts • Strictly follows procedures and techniques developed to be used on projects • Responsible for assisting in writing reports, cost estimates, coordinating the preparation of engineering plans, reviewing completed plans and specifications • Ensures that the entire project team is aware of any deficiencies or potential problems that may occur • Maintain secure business partnerships / relationships with key clients, consultants, groups, organizations, and teams • Bring a positive attitude into the office/ worksite and represent K2M Design in an upbeat and professional manner while on site in a client’s facility • Do not post project workload onto any Social Media platform as most project work is confidential • Coordinate with the Team Leader, K2M Project Manager, and if unavailable coordinate with the Director for all project related tasks • Review and have a thorough understanding of condition assessment practices and procedures • Attend all department meetings and follow-up on any decisions made that may affect efficient work practices • Confers with Team Leader to provide technical advice and to resolve problems • Executes multiple projects at any one time • Minimal drafting work as required on projects in order to meet client expectations
Job Requirements
- Experience in electrical construction, project management, and troubleshooting is a plus, but not required
- Electrical license, preferred, not required
- Ability to identify or learn to identify NEC code issues
- Comfortable using computer programs, such as MS Office, Word and Excel
- Individual must be able to identify or learn to identify different Architectural elements and MEP systems outside of the electrical trade. These include structural elements, HVAC, Refrigeration, etc.
- Clean Driver's License, no DUI or serious infractions
- Ability to climb ladders, lift items up to 50 lbs
- Available for travel as needed to different locations and varying periods of time as needed on a project basis for site surveys, consultant coordination, construction administration, etc.
- Responsible for maintaining, storing, and transporting all K2M provided tools/ PPE to the jobsite
- 60-80% of work time is reserved for traveling, alone or as part of a team.

Residential Aged Care Funding Assessor

• Your role will involve visiting aged care facilities to assess residents using the Australian National Aged Care Classification (AN-ACC) assessment tool. • This position will undertake AN-ACC assessments at residential aged care homes across the Grampians aged care planning region (ACPR) on behalf of the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. • These visits require travel within the Grampians ACPR with the potential for overnight stays for more remote facilities. • Comprehensive training and support will be provided (no prior knowledge of the AN-ACC assessment tool is required).
