Jacuzzi is seeking a technically strong, business-minded Information Technology Manager to support our manufacturing and finance systems environment. This role will act as the bridge between operations and technology, ensuring our IBM i (AS/400)-based ERP platform continues to effectively support production, inventory, and financial processes. We are looking for someone who understands how manufacturing businesses operate, can confidently engage with leadership, and is comfortable working within a customized ERP environment. This position combines hands-on technical awareness with team leadership and strategic oversight. The right candidate knows when to dive into the details and when to leverage internal or external partners. Key Responsibilities - Provide direction and support to the ERP team serving manufacturing and finance functions. - Work closely with operations, production, IT, and accounting leaders to align technology with business priorities. - Drive the intake, assessment, and prioritization of system requests from concept through implementation. - Ensure system updates follow a structured approach, including testing, documentation, and controlled deployment. - Oversee improvements related to shop floor management, inventory control, RF barcoding, and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). - Oversee ERP change management and release processes - Assess business cases for manufacturing technology initiatives, including scope, cost considerations, and implementation approach. - Act as a strategic IT partner to improve workflows, increase automation, and enhance shop floor system capabilities. - Provide oversight for integrations between ERP and connected platforms such as MES and middleware solutions. - Contribute to long-term planning and readiness efforts for a future ERP modernization or cloud transition Compensation $110K + (Based off of experience)
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience supporting IT and ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to communicate effectively across both technical and business teams.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring ERP-focused technical teams, including developers and analysts.
- Solid understanding of core manufacturing operations, including work order processing, shop floor execution, inventory control, and RF/barcoding processes.
- Practical experience working within IBM (AS/400 and KBM) environments.
- Ability to review and interpret RPG, RPG ILE, and CL programs for troubleshooting or enhancement scoping.
- Experience operating within structured ERP change control and release management practices.
