Verification Services Specialist I
HECK!
• Provide quality of service, ensure efficient turnaround time and report completion • Use telephone, email, fax, and mail to communicate with employers, schools, state boards, and online databases to verify current and previous employment, education, professional licenses, certifications and references • Maintain compliance with FCRA requirements, employment and reference verification regulations, consumer information disclosure guidelines, and organizational policies and standards • Conduct employment, education, credential, and professional reference verifications through outbound and inbound communication with verification sources via phone, fax, email, and other available technologies • Document research activities, verification results, and actions taken in a clear and detailed manner • Communicate with clients and verification sources to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality report completion • Review completed reports for accuracy, completeness, and grammatical correctness before closing.
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma and 1-4 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in a customer service focused setting such as a professional services firm, employment screening or staffing agency preferred
- Customer service and data entry experience preferred.
