Field CTO – Analytics, AI

• Own the full technical track on qualified Analytics and AI opportunities from the first architecture call through to the technical win, with nothing handed back. • Lead the technical motion on AI and GenAI use cases on Postgres vector search, retrieval, RAG, and agentic workloads turning emerging customer demand into solutions that win. • Run proofs of concept, benchmarks, and sizing, including services scoping and complex migrations. • Design reference architectures and frame EDB's technical differentiation clearly and confidently in competitive situations. • Operate at the enterprise and CxO level executive advisory, thought leadership, and board-level positioning on strategic accounts. • Document every deal motion into playbooks, reference architectures, and demos so any SE in the regional org can recognize and flag the next opportunity. • Co-host the weekly Analytics & AI Open Hours, delivering real-time enablement, market intel, and field coaching to sellers and SEs. • Close the loop to Product and Engineering turning deal pain into a roadmap signal through the weekly win/loss feedback cycle.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of deep hands-on expertise with Postgres and data platforms analytical and OLAP workloads, data warehousing, and operational data systems.
- Real, current experience designing AI and GenAI solutions on data platforms: vector search, embeddings, retrieval and RAG, and emerging agentic patterns.
- Proven ability to lead POCs, benchmarks, sizing, and complex migrations end-to-end, and to design reference architectures customers trust.
- A strong track record in pre-sales, solutions-architect, or field-CTO roles on enterprise data and AI deals built over many years in customer-facing technical leadership.
- Demonstrated experience engaging at the CxO and board level you can earn the trust of a CTO or CDO, advise on strategy, and hold the room as the senior technical voice on a strategic account.
- Comfort being both the deepest technical hands on the deal and the executive in the conversation, and the discipline to document and share what you learn so the wider field benefits.
- Willingness to travel as deals demand.

Role Description BMA is seeking an Information Technology Subject Matter Expert (OIG) to join our team. This is a fully remote role. Serves as a technical expert responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Identity Governance solutions that support enterprise security, business continuity, and operational efficiency. Provides technical leadership in identity governance architecture, risk assessment, automation, systems integration, and application development while supporting complex, multi-platform enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities - Designs, develops, and manages the implementation of risk assessment and business contingency planning frameworks, methodologies, and tools to ensure business continuity across a large, decentralized enterprise. - Supports multi-language, multi-platform, and multi-operating system environments. - Evaluates and recommends emerging technologies and software solutions to meet business and functional requirements. - Provides advanced technical guidance on automation solutions for complex information processing challenges. - Supports enterprise customers by implementing technology solutions that integrate business functions within open systems and client-server architectures. - Analyzes data processing requirements to design and implement Identity Governance systems that support projected workloads. - Plans the installation of new systems and modifications to existing systems. - Configures and manages computing environments to support scientific, engineering, and business applications. - Develops applications utilizing Identity Governance protocols and platforms. - Designs and deploys Internet-based applications using modern web technologies, communications protocols, and industry standards. - Deploys applications that leverage Internet standards to support secure access from diverse client platforms. - Integrates Identity Governance technologies, including LDAP directories, databases, operating systems, network devices, application servers (such as WebLogic and IIS), Identity Providers (IdPs), Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA), and web- and API-based programming languages, including Java and .NET.
