• Develop and execute subcontract strategies to align with program and organizational objectives, while effectively managing risks and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. • Lead negotiations to establish subcontract agreements with favorable terms and conditions. • Manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring all parties adhere to agreed terms. • Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance using defined metrics. • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure subcontractors meet delivery schedules, quality standards, and cost requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, finance, and program management, to ensure subcontract requirements are clearly understood and support program needs. • Identify potential risks associated with subcontracting activities. • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address these risks, minimizing impact on project delivery and costs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant subcontracts experience.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related subcontracts experience.
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related subcontracts experience.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, lean manufacturing, assembly and ATP processes.
- Experience interpreting program management, engineering and supplier demands in a continuously changing environment with minimal guidance.
- Working capability in the use of typical office computer programs for conduct of program management such as MS PowerPoint, MS Project, MS Excel, and MS Word.
- Experience in supporting supplier contracts above the TINA ($2M) with minimal guidance.
