• Provide status updates to clients regarding their cases. • Electronically file uncontested pleadings through Odyssey File and Serve. • Draft legal pleadings and documents using approved templates. • Maintain and update lead tracking spreadsheets and reporting records. • Follow up with post consultation leads to encourage client conversion. • Send retainer agreements following consultations through Lawcus. • Return client calls and text messages promptly during business hours. • Answer incoming calls through Google Voice in a timely and professional manner. • Organize, maintain, and update client files, pleadings, and court notices. • Obtain client signatures through Dropbox Sign and Lawcus workflows. • Enter and verify client, opposing party, and opposing counsel information accurately within Lawcus. • Ensure smooth case flow and onboarding once a lead becomes a client. • Follow up with prospective clients to schedule consultations. • Add and maintain new leads within Lawcus CRM. • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance across case records and documentation.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a legal assistant, or in a legal support role and/or related Bachelor's degree in legal studies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong client service mindset with excellent follow-up and communication skills
