Role Description Join HubSpot as an Outbound Business Development Representative (BDR). This is not a placeholder job — it’s the first chapter of a high-growth sales career designed for those who want to build skills, embrace feedback, move fast, and grow even faster. As an Outbound BDR, you’ll play a key role in HubSpot’s growth engine: - Be the first touchpoint for many of our future customers. - Spark conversations through strategic outreach, uncovering pain points, and qualifying leads. - Partner closely with Account Executives to deliver high-quality meetings that drive pipeline, impact, and revenue. - Sharpen your sales toolkit daily and gain exposure to a world-class sales organization. Qualifications - Eager to grow long-term within a sales path. - Resilient, coachable, and crave feedback to improve. - Curious and ask why, not just how. - Set high standards for themselves — and hit them. - Technologically fluent, adapting to new technologies and leveraging AI in your day-to-day. - Communicate clearly, write thoughtfully, and can confidently conduct a cold call. - Energized by a fast-paced environment and a bit of friendly competition. - Have past sales success or demonstrated excellence in goal-driven roles (e.g., fundraising, athletics, service industry). Requirements - Own and execute outbound prospecting through high-volume outreach (60–100+ activities/day) via phone, email, and LinkedIn. - Collaborate with Account Executives to target strategic accounts and refine outreach strategy. - Qualify leads based on fit, need, and urgency — and book quality discovery meetings. - Hit (and exceed) KPIs for activity, meetings delivered, and pipeline impact. - Grow fast. Learn fast. Get coached. Apply it. Repeat. Benefits - Base salary: $53,800 annually. - On-target commission: $23,000 annually. - OTE (on-target earnings): $76,800 annually. - Annual cash compensation range: $53,800 — $90,000 USD. - Potential participation in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). - Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
