What We Need Our studio is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who values efficiency, productivity and the satisfaction that comes from helping a team do their best work. We’re seeking someone who has a passion for solving complex problems, a deep understanding of Systems, Tools and Pipeline engineering, and the drive to improve workflows, optimize code, and engineer solutions to achieve results that enable the game and team to reach their full potential. In this role, you will be working closely with the Technical Director, as well as collaborating with Engineers, Animators and Designers to improve workflows, architecture and tools that will enable the development team to do its best work. What You’ll Do - Provide software and tools support to Engineers, Designers and Artists. - Develop tools that enable rapid iteration, efficient and accurate diagnosis of issues, automate tests and workflow, or data management for assets. - Communicate cross-discipline and provide innovative solutions to pipeline and testbed issues. - Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support for the team. - Debug and/or triage low level issues like Crashes, Hangs and Desynchs. - Profile and optimize for CPU, GPU, Memory, and Load Times. - Manage Branching strategies and integrations between branches. - Contribute to the development and evolution of standards and conventions. - Mentor other systems team members. - Write and maintain documentation. What Will Make You A Great Fit - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years of related experience building and delivering games in a Systems role - Experience developing multi-platform projects. - Expertise with the C++ programming language along with strong coding architectural design principles - Experience researching, piloting, and rolling out new techniques. - Experience in designing and creating systems, tools and assets for projects. - Experience with Unreal Engine 5 development - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Role Description The Lead Control Systems Engineer provides leadership, expertise, and delegates work for construction document deliverables for building automation system (BAS), electrical power monitoring system (EPMS), and software integration design projects in hyperscale data center and similar mission critical / technology sectors. The Lead Control Systems Engineer will work with internal and external MEP/FP trade engineers, equipment representatives, product vendors, and BIM / Revit / AutoCAD production resources. This role also will coordinate activities of other personnel and serve as a people manager, communicating and operating in line with organizational goals / values, and departmental objectives. • Lead full-cycle data conversion across multiple customer projects (discovery → mapping → transformation → validation → go-live) • Act as the primary technical contact for customers, guiding data strategy, surfacing risks, and managing expectations • Collaborate with Business Analysts and other Professional Services teams to understand data requirements, provide data analyses to assist with the configuration of our software, and accurately map data to meet customer needs • Analyze and validate large, complex datasets using advanced SQL • Build and execute ETL/ELT processes (SSIS, Talend, Informatica, or similar) • Develop data mapping logic, transformation rules, and validation strategies • Identify and resolve data quality issues through profiling, cleansing, and root cause analysis • Work across file formats (CSV, Excel) to support data exchange • Plan and execute cutover activities, including go-live coordination and validation sign-off • Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure accurate data delivery • Mentor junior team members and contribute to improving migration processes and standards • Leverage generative AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, improve solution quality, and accelerate delivery of business outcomes.
