• Positioning & strategy: you develop positioning and STP (segmentation, targeting, positioning) based on real market analysis and derive the marketing strategy from it • Brand architecture: you design and manage the brand across multiple products and markets (DACH, with future scope to UK/ES/USA) • Campaigns & launches: you design campaigns and product launches end-to-end: objective → message → channel → measurement • Market & competitive intelligence: you turn market observation into decision-ready battlecards for sales • Content & sales enablement: you are responsible for messages and materials (evidence, case studies, one-pagers, decks) that are clinically and economically convincing • Channel & KPI strategy: you set the channel mix (LinkedIn, newsletter, website/SEO) and manage marketing with clear metrics • Orchestration & budget: you manage AI, design partners, agency and event service providers and are responsible for your marketing budget (execution can be outsourced; you design and decide)
Job Requirements
- Several years of experience in strategic marketing: you have not only learned marketing concepts and strategies but have developed and implemented them yourself
- Confident in core methods: positioning & STP, campaign and launch architecture, channel mix and KPI management
- AI-native: you use LLMs daily as a lever for research, drafts and analysis
- Degree in marketing/business administration or a comparable practical background

Role Description Coleto Brands, parent company of Progress Lighting and Kichler, is seeking a Senior Director of Brand Marketing to join our team. This role is responsible for defining, elevating and protecting the brand strategy across Coleto Brands. You will lead a high-functioning brand marketing team to drive a cohesive brand architecture, translate brand strategy into impactful integrated marketing programs, and ensure alignment with business objectives to fuel growth, differentiation and brand advocacy. As a senior leader within the organization, you will also closely collaborate with cross-functional colleagues to ensure corporate and go-to-market brand consistency across all touchpoints, delivering best-in-class brand experiences for customers and consumers. This role is both strategic and hands-on, flexing as needed to build strong, enduring brands that resonate with target audiences across all channels. The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for brand building across all touchpoints. You will work closely with internal colleagues and external agency partners to develop and implement brand marketing initiatives that elevate the Kichler and Progress Lighting brands among their target audiences while also supporting business needs.
