Job Requirements

  • At least one year of success in B2B or business-to-consumer (B2C) outside sales, with a track record of delivering results
  • Strong ability to communicate, present and negotiate, both in person and virtually
  • Confidence building relationships quickly and earning trust with business owners
  • A competitive, self-driven mindset with the energy to achieve and exceed goals
  • Ability to think like a client and connect solutions to real business outcomes
  • Valid driver’s license and comfort spending up to 75% of your time in the field
  • Residence within two hours of the territory to stay connected and responsive
  • A proven ability to upsell and cross-sell existing merchants on new features, software add-ons, and hardware upgrades is a bonus
  • Experience working with the restaurant or retail industries is a plus is a plus.
  • Two full years of B2B Outside Sales experience, preferably in fintech, merchant services or SaaS.

Role Description As an Account Executive in Mid, Large, and Strategic Market segments, you will support consultants in managing client accounts by researching, analyzing, and evaluating medical, dental, life and disability benefits plans and programs for employers. The expectation at this level is that the Account Executive will exercise more independent thinking and be able to complete projects with little guidance from consultants. Often, tasks are time sensitive and the employee may be working under intense deadlines and pressure. This position is open to fully remote candidates located in ET time zone. Individuals located near the Bethesda, MD office will be expected to work in a hybrid capacity.
