Senior Product Manager

Vector Solutions

• Perform competitor, customer, and market analysis to identify customer needs, trends market gaps, and new product opportunities. • Develop product positioning, pricing, channel, and marketing strategies. • Recommend product and website enhancements to improve user experience. • Track performance of products to assess success and communicate delivery against metrics. • Define and document product requirements and roadmaps for execution and sales. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for every stage of product development. • Provide content to create marketing materials such as product slicks/profiles, webinars, presentations, demos, white papers, and product updates. • Coordinate product launch activities including working closely with cross-departmental teams. • Work with the development team to plan, specify and deliver product development projects. • Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines. • Test new product features before release, provide feedback and prioritize issues. • Identify and prioritize new areas for content development. • Create support and training documents for internal and external users. • Prepare and conduct sales training. • Manage product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical initiatives and specifies the market requirements in relation to the business’s product. • Ensure product line revenue achievements consistently meet plan. • Create and conduct presentations for executive leadership team to measure product and business plan achievements. • Act as subject matter expert capable of working across technical and non-technical teams to establish the value and importance for strategic eCommerce initiatives. • Create reports to analyze sales data and trends to make product and business decisions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a product manager for technical products or complimentary product experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proven team player with co-workers and customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with negotiation skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a role requiring management by influence
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate technical concepts and learn quickly
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Experience working within an Agile product development process is preferred.
