Account Manager, Publisher Success

Mediavine

• Manage an established portfolio of publishers, focusing on retention and growth. • Take on new accounts, build rapport, and foster trust and long-term partnerships. • Proactively assess potential risks of churn and implement solutions to ensure ongoing success. • Advocate for publisher needs, addressing feature and data requests, reporting, and tools. • Use cohort data, trend analysis, and projections to provide tailored recommendations. • Deliver periodic business reviews and performance reports. • Maintain consistent and personalized communication with each publisher. • Monitor client social accounts to celebrate publisher successes and milestones. • Collaborate with Support Specialists and Engineers to resolve day-to-day issues. • Surface trends across accounts, ensuring key information is shared and escalated when necessary. • Maintain expert-level knowledge of Mediavine’s products and services to suggest relevant features. • Track and analyze performance results to identify opportunities for improvement. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Customer Success or a related field
  • Mediavine experience preferred
  • Experience working remotely in a distributed team environment
  • Experience in a publisher-facing role, with a focus on building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Strong proficiency with Google Suite
  • Experience with communication platforms like Slack
  • Experience working with a CRM such as Hubspot, Salesforce, etc
  • Initiative and a drive to go above and beyond for each publisher
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to tailor recommendations effectively
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork
  • The ability to present data persuasively and make informed recommendations
  • Availability to travel to on-site locations for team retreats and the annual all hands events approximately 20% of the time
