SME Mission Trainer

• Lead curriculum reviews, annual training reviews, and courseware development meetings supporting GEODSS operations and maintenance. • Attend and support operational briefings, mission planning sessions, safety meetings, readiness reviews, and intelligence briefings. • Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and assessments of emerging threats, operational trends, and mission requirements to enhance GEODSS training programs. • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide training programs supporting optical sensor operations, maintenance, system administration, and mission support functions. • Develop and maintain courseware, lesson plans, qualification training packages, practical exercises, evaluations, and certification programs. • Create and deliver advanced academics focused on optical sensor operations, Space Domain Awareness, cislunar operations, adversary maneuvering, and emerging space mission sets. • Develop and execute enterprise-level readiness exercises and scenario-based training events integrating Operations, Maintenance, System Administration, Supply, Security, and Facility functions. • Lead the review, assessment, and modification of existing procedures, checklists, technical guidance, and training materials to improve mission effectiveness and standardization. • Manage enterprise knowledge management initiatives, including development of job aids, training videos, lessons learned, case studies, and standardized operating procedures. • Lead maintenance training and IMDS compliance initiatives, including development of training materials, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance documentation procedures. • Brief senior leadership on training effectiveness, readiness trends, operational risks, and program improvements.
Job Requirements
- At least twelve (12) years of operational, maintenance, training, or management experience supporting Space Domain Awareness, optical surveillance, space operations, or related mission areas.
- Experience operating, maintaining, supporting, or training personnel on electro-optical sensor systems, telescope-based surveillance systems, Space Domain Awareness systems, or comparable Department of Defense mission systems.
- Experience developing and delivering military or government training programs, including courseware, lesson plans, examinations, assessments, qualification training, and certification programs.
- Experience developing tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), operational exercises, and scenario-based training.
- Experience with maintenance documentation systems, including IMDS, ETIMS, or equivalent maintenance management systems.
- Experience supporting geographically separated units and enterprise-wide training programs.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Equivalent military or industry experience may be substituted for formal education.
- Active Secret and TS/SCI security clearance eligible.
- Remote, with periodic travel to GEODSS operational sites and Government locations as required.

• Train all culinary positions on board any of the Lindblad vessels. • Develop a comprehensive training plan for each culinary position. • Implement the provision plan based on storage capacity and itineraries of the ships. • Serve as a fill in/temp chef or any culinary position as needed. • Ensuring onboard team is conducting professional evaluations & tracking performance and creating individual plans for galley staff for professional growth. • Conducting interviews of potential candidates and onboarding process. • Roll out with collaboration with the culinary manager to develop training materials and programs. Build seasons specific order guides with general par level included based on the menu matrix and product availability in the market. • Review of voyage menus, comment cards and tracking onboard performance. • Ensure vessel’s maintain readiness compliance with United States Public Health (USPH) standards across all vessels, including onboard training. • Maintain general knowledge of galley equipment and ensure all crew are trained for proper operations. • Contribute to new initiatives from hotel leadership, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and operational excellence. • Manages transitions and handovers to ensure relevant and helpful for incoming chefs. • Perform other related duties as assigned.
