Title: Paid Social Creative Strategist Location: United Kingdom Remote Marketing Full time Job Description: Paid Social Creative Strategist Function: Paid Social | Creative Strategy | Performance Creative Reports to: Head of Creative Location: Fully Remote (with optional access to our London office) Salary: £50,000–£60,000 The Opportunity This role is designed for someone who lives and breathes paid social performance but has become increasingly fascinated by the creative side of growth. Maybe you're currently a Paid Social Manager, Performance Marketing Manager, Growth Marketer, or Media Buyer. You know that creative is often the biggest lever for performance, and you've found yourself spending more time analysing winning ads, developing creative hypotheses, reviewing hooks, and influencing content direction than simply managing campaigns. Now you're looking for the opportunity to move closer to creative strategy and have a direct impact on what gets made, tested, and scaled. That's exactly what this role offers. At Launch With Us, we're building something different. Our focus is simple: helping ambitious brands scale from £1–2M to £5M, £10M and beyond through a combination of world-class paid media and performance creative. We manage over £10M in annual media spend across Meta and TikTok for brands including Lucky Saint, Four Five, Fem Fuelz, Butter & Crust, and Aromatherapy Associates. As part of one of the UK's leading independent agency groups, we operate with speed, autonomy, and a high level of ownership. There’s no red tape, no endless approval chains, and no waiting around for decisions. We move quickly, test relentlessly, and focus on what drives measurable growth. We're also deeply AI-forward in how we think and operate, constantly evolving how we drive performance and efficiency for our brands. Progression here isn't tied to tenure. It's driven by impact. If you're delivering exceptional results, you'll be recognised and given opportunities to grow quickly. About the Role We're looking for a Paid Social Creative Strategist who understands that great creative is often the biggest driver of performance. You'll sit at the intersection of paid media, consumer psychology, and creative strategy—using performance data, audience insights, and platform expertise to shape the creative direction for some of the UK's fastest-growing consumer brands. Rather than simply managing campaigns, you'll help identify what content should be created, why it should work, how it should be tested, and what needs to happen next to improve performance. Working closely with founders, media buyers, editors, creators, and account leads, you'll develop scalable creative systems that drive measurable growth. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a strong paid social background who wants to transition into a more creative and strategic role without losing the performance mindset that makes them successful. Requirements Strategic Leadership - Own creative strategy across a portfolio of key client accounts, acting as the senior strategic lead and trusted advisor. - Define and lead creative testing frameworks, experimentation roadmaps, and strategic priorities aligned to client growth objectives. - Conduct quarterly strategic planning sessions and creative reviews with clients and internal stakeholders. - Translate performance data, customer insights, and market intelligence into actionable creative strategies. - Identify opportunities to unlock growth through new creative angles, messaging strategies, offers, and positioning. Creative Development & Performance - Lead the development of performance-driven creative strategies across Meta, TikTok, and emerging platforms. - Analyse creative performance data and transform insights into clear recommendations, testing plans, and optimisation opportunities. - Oversee the ideation, scripting, briefing, and development of UGC, creator content, high-production campaigns, motion, and design assets. - Develop scalable creative frameworks that improve efficiency while maintaining creative quality and performance. - Ensure all creative output is strategically aligned, performance-led, and reflective of client objectives. Team Leadership & Mentorship - Mentor and develop Creative Strategists, providing coaching, strategic guidance, and structured feedback. - Lead editors, designers, creators, and production partners by providing clear creative direction and performance context. - Review and elevate creative briefs before production to ensure strategic rigour and consistency. - Raise the quality bar across all creative strategy output and champion best practices throughout the team. - Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and developing future creative talent where required. Client & Commercial Leadership - Build trusted relationships with founders, senior stakeholders, and client leadership teams. - Present strategic recommendations, creative insights, and performance analysis with confidence and authority. - Partner closely with account leads to improve client retention, growth, and overall account performance. - Proactively identify commercial opportunities that create additional value for clients and support agency growth. - Maintain proactive communication, surfacing opportunities and risks early while guiding clients towards the highest-impact actions. Innovation & Operational Excellence - Stay ahead of platform trends, consumer behaviour shifts, competitive activity, and emerging creative formats. - Champion the use of AI, automation, and innovative creative workflows to improve output quality and efficiency. - Establish and refine internal creative processes, frameworks, and operating systems. - Share learnings, performance insights, and best practices across the wider team. - Drive continuous improvement in creative performance, testing velocity, and operational effectiveness. Leadership Expectations: As a Senior Creative Strategist, you will: - Raise the quality and strategic sophistication of creative output across the agency. - Act as a mentor and role model for junior team members. - Influence cross-functional teams including media buying, account management, production, and leadership. - Champion experimentation, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. - Help shape the future direction of Launch With Us' creative offering. What Success Looks Like (First 6 Months): - You have established yourself as the strategic lead across a portfolio of key accounts. - Clients actively seek your guidance on creative direction, growth opportunities, and testing priorities. - Creative testing programmes consistently generate measurable improvements in account performance. - You have developed scalable creative frameworks that improve both effectiveness and efficiency. - Junior strategists look to you for mentorship, coaching, and strategic support. - You contribute meaningfully to agency-wide creative systems and best practices. - Your work directly influences client retention, account growth, and media performance outcomes. - Internal teams trust your judgment and rely on your strategic direction You'll Thrive Here If You Have: - 5+ years' experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, paid social, or a related discipline. - A proven track record of leading creative strategy across multiple high-growth brands. - Strong experience developing high-performing creative for Meta, TikTok, and other performance channels. - Demonstrated experience mentoring or managing strategists, editors, designers, or creative teams. - Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to connect creative decisions directly to performance outcomes. - Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives profitable growth for DTC and e-commerce brands. - Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills. - Experience presenting strategic recommendations to founders, senior leadership teams, and key decision-makers. - Deep understanding of consumer psychology, behavioural drivers, and conversion principles. - A proactive, ownership-led mindset with a desire to continuously improve both your work and those around you. - A passion for innovation, AI, and the future of performance creative.
