• Develop, maintain, and expand strong relationships with customers, global suppliers, internal trading and operations teams, third-party service providers, and senior management. • Identify and execute new commercial opportunities, transaction structures, and market strategies that support business growth and profitability. • Formulate and present competitive commercial proposals based on market dynamics, competitor activity, company positioning, and short- and long-term strategy. • Execute spot and long-term purchase and sale agreements for physical base metals while managing related price exposure through futures and options on global exchanges, including the LME and CME. • Monitor macro and micro market trends, forward curves, volatility, inventory levels, desk positions, and P&L to support informed commercial decisions and effective risk management. • Provide regular market updates and insights to trading teams, peers, and senior management. • Oversee the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, confirmations, logistics, settlements, and dispute resolution. • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure efficient movement of commodities from suppliers to end users while optimizing capital consumption, shipping, delivery, return on capital, and profitability. • Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers and counterparties to optimize P&L and capital utilization. • Ensure trading and operational activities comply with technical, internal, legal, and federal requirements. • Travel to customers, suppliers, and industry events as needed, approximately 20–40%.

• Lead live trading execution for key sports, leagues, or high-priority events. • Oversee pricing accuracy, market integrity, and response times. • Monitor and optimize: • Market suspensions • Re-open timing • Pricing vs market benchmarks • Analyze performance across events (hold, competitiveness, volatility). • Identify inefficiencies in: • Templates • Pricing flows • Tooling or automation • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior traders. • Support development of live trading SOPs and frameworks. • Collaborate with Risk on real-time exposure and player behavior.

• Monitoring sports betting markets. • Making quick, accurate and informed decisions on wagers that require trader interaction for bet acceptance. • Implementing effective risk management strategies and adjusting bet limits. • Analysing exposure, adjusting prices and managing liabilities. • Being tuned into all sporting events, anticipating market moves and trends based on breaking news.

• Execute OTC trades in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with internal policies including pricing and trading policies and regulatory requirements. • Monitor market trends and analyze trading opportunities, utilizing a decent understanding of options and financial derivatives. • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to coordinate trading strategies and initiatives. • Maintain high levels of attention to detail in all aspects of trading, documentation, and compliance. • Conduct thorough risk assessments to ensure financial risk is managed comfortably. • Collaborate with team members to share insights, discuss what best solutions to provide • Utilize trading algorithms on a daily basis to hedge derivatives and execute client transactions. The trader will also play a key role in monitoring and enhancing these algorithms to optimize performance.
