Role Description Recruiters are responsible for executing a successful Talent Acquisition strategy. Individuals in this role will be responsible for performing all functions related to the attraction and selection of teammates. This role is responsible for proactive and strategic sourcing to recruit talent with the right skills and passion for our brand. This includes providing our candidates and business partners a customer-focused and highly effective experience. This role will be responsible for high volume recruiting of hourly roles with occasional salaried positions. - Represents DICK’S Sporting Goods at events, both in-person or virtually. - Develops recruitment strategies to identify a diverse pool of candidates and build a pipeline utilizing multiple strategies including: - Internal talent - Online databases - Social media - Job boards - Contact lists - Networking - Referrals - Applicant tracking systems/databases - Manage multiple pipelines for several business functions. - May include the identification of unique and non-traditional sources to find highly skilled and specialized candidates. - Responsible for recruiting both active and passive candidates. - May specialize and focus recruiting efforts on niche skill sets or industries, and develop a unique sourcing base in order to identify candidates. - Reviews employment applications and resumes evaluating work history, education and training, job skills, compensation needs, and other qualifications of applicants. - Qualifies candidates sending a link to schedule hourly onsite interviews, by conducting phone, video and in-person interviews. - Refers qualified candidates to the Hiring Manager for review and offers recommendations to manager based on their findings. - Provides coaching and advice to candidates and hiring managers throughout the interview process. - Provides salary recommendation to hiring manager based on level of position, market analysis and internal comparisons. - Negotiates compensation, creates offer letters, performs reference/background checks and initiates the relocation agreement when appropriate. - Provides feedback to Hiring Managers based on issues and themes they experience in the search process to drive internal change. - Stays abreast and current on latest recruiting and industry trends to continuously evolve candidate pipeline and service levels. - Ensures all interviewing/hiring practices are in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to equal employment opportunity, immigration, and company policies. - Constantly evaluates selection and placement techniques used for interviewing. - Responsible for offering “best practice” options such as behavior-based interviewing to management and supervisory personnel. - Develops relationships with local organizations, campus programs, or external partners as needed. Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field - 3-5 year corporate recruiting experience required - Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software experience - Internet Search Tools proficiency - Passionate about recruiting top talent as demonstrated by high level of energy, positive and upbeat attitude - Ability to interact with hiring managers at all levels of the company - Experience staffing positions at a variety of levels, including senior management - Ability to handle special projects as assigned - Ability to handle constant change with ease and flexibility - Proven ability to use behavioral interviewing techniques Requirements - Cameras must be on during all virtual interviews - AI tools are not permitted to be used by the candidate during any part of the interview process - Offers are contingent upon a satisfactory background check which may include ID verification Benefits - Targeted Pay Range: $54,600.00 - $90,900.00 - Competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as incentive, equity, and benefits - Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations - DICK'S Sporting Goods complies with all state paid leave requirements - Generous suite of benefits
