Role Description A Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Idoven is a rare combination: a technically strong engineer who thrives at the intersection of tech and client. You will be embedded — sometimes literally — in our most critical client accounts, helping them integrate, configure, and scale Idoven's AI platform within their own infrastructure and clinical workflows. This is not a support role. You will be a technical advisor, integration partner, and trusted problem-solver for clients like global medtech companies and pharma running large-scale clinical programs. You will work directly with client engineering and clinical teams, attend key meetings, and make implementation decisions on the ground — then bring those learnings back to shape Idoven's product and roadmap. What You'll Do - Lead technical integration projects with strategic clients: understand their infrastructure, design integration architectures, and drive implementations to completion. - Customize and configure Idoven's platform for client-specific clinical use cases and deployment environments. - Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in live client environments — sometimes under time pressure. - Attend client meetings alongside commercial and clinical teams; provide technical credibility and translate AI capabilities into clinical and business value. - Build integration documentation, technical runbooks, and reusable assets that enable clients to scale without constant Idoven involvement. - Act as a feedback loop: surface product gaps, integration challenges, and technical debt back to Idoven's engineering and product teams. - Collaborate with the solutions engineering and clinical teams to improve the platform's scalability and configurability. Qualifications - +5 years of a mix of solutions engineering experience and client facing roles in Medtech, with a track record of delivering in client-facing or production environments. - Comfortable working directly with clients: able to lead, present, explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and build trust quickly. - Curiosity and fluency in the healthcare or clinical domain — you don't need to be a cardiologist, but you need to understand what a hospital's IT team is dealing with and why it matters clinically. - Solid technical skills: Python and/or backend development, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines. - Autonomous problem-solver: when something breaks in a client environment, you own it until it's fixed. - Fluency in Spanish and English. - Background in healthcare AI, digital health, or SaMD required. Requirements - Experience at a company with a forward deployed, solutions, or professional services model (e.g., Palantir, Salesforce, or similar). - Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, DICOM, or healthcare interoperability standards. - Experience working with ECG, cardiac monitoring, or clinical trial data platforms. - Exposure to clinical or regulatory environments (CE marking, FDA, MDR). Benefits - 🚀 Be part of one of the most disruptive startups in HealthTech and AI and make a difference. - 🏆 Personal and professional growth as part of a fast-growing, international team. - 🎧 No corners cut in having the best tech equipment to do your job. - 🙋 Unlimited remote working environment, where you can choose to work from home and attend our Madrid office whenever you want to. - 📚 Learning and development opportunities and training budget. - 💸 Flexible Remuneration. - 👩🏻‍⚕️ Health Insurance covered by IDOVEN. - 🏋 Access to Wellhub (Gympass), empowering your physical and mental wellness! - 🖥️ Remote Work Allowance for your home office setup! - 🌴 23 holidays, your birthday off, and December 24th and 31st half days to celebrate! - 😎 Regular team events and Thursday happy hours. - And much more! Company Description At Idoven, we believe in hiring top talented people like you - ambitious, forward thinkers who want to make a difference in the world and have an impact. Diversity & Inclusion: At Idoven, we believe diverse teams build better products.
