Joining the Digital Engineering function would see you work as part of a cross-functional, product style team, generally consisting of a Business Analyst, Scrum Master / Project Manager, Solution Architect, Lead Developers (FE and BE), Developers, and Testers (Manual and Automated). We are looking for a highly talented Automated Tester who is in search of every bug, defect and glitch in the matrix! You can perform functional and non-functional testing on web and mobile applications in your sleep. You'll need to be confident in writing, programming, and running automated tests and regression suites; having gained demonstrable experience in Selenium WebDriver for automation and Automated API testing using RestAssured Our Agile process is mature, and everyone can contribute when planning. We plan and estimate using Planning poker and the Fibonacci scale, ensuring that everyone in our team has a voice. Collaboration is key and we genuinely value everyone’s individual skillset and opinion. Ideally, we are looking for midlands-based individuals who are happy to work on a hybrid model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, HOWEVER we are also open to hiring remote workers in the UK as long as you are prepared to travel to the midlands from time to time.Responsibilities: - Creating, developing and improving the automation suites for projects - Develop our automation tests within our test frameworks using Java as our core development language with selenium Web driver - Working alongside Development teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues - Writing and running test scripts and regression suits and accurately recording issues raised Essential Skills - You’re curious, ambitious, and hardworking and thrive in a fast-moving digital environment - You already have experience in QA testing web-based applications, cross browser functional testing, strong familiarity with bug tracking and reporting applications, plus experience of writing test cases - Needless to say, you will come armed with experience of Selenium WebDriver with the Java programming language HTML, CSS and JavaScript and a Working knowledge of BDD (Behaviour Driven Development.
