General Summary: The Events Manager is responsible for the resource preparation, planning, and delivery of all IT Nation events and programs. This role works in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure all events run efficiently and are coordinated within budget. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Provides support to the Marketing team, with close attention to detail - Researches, analyzes, and documents findings - May coach and review the work of other team members - Prepares and maintains signage and printable budgets throughout the lifecycle of the events - Runs project plans for event deliverables and identifies/resolves potential issues - Serves as the main point of contact for all incoming internal requests at large events - Provides suggestions for improvements to event flow and attendee experience - Assists with integration plans that impact successful event recruitment and execution - Acts as a subject matter expert for the IT Nation team and the marketing process - Facilitates the training of new colleagues within the team - Completes administrative tasks that accompany IT Nation events, which include production management, identifying deadlines, budgets, and invoices, and gathering quotas for print pieces Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required: - Ability to manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision - Advanced knowledge of the applicable work area - Ability to situationally adapt and understand new technology/processes as per business and partner requirements - Ability to lift, carry and otherwise move up to 10 pounds on a regular basis - Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills - Preferred: Knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, Cvent, Workamajig, Espiserver, and/or Trello Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations: - Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent business experience - 5+ years of relevant experience - Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Cvent certification Working Conditions: - On-site / Hybrid depending on location - 0-10% travel may be required ConnectWise is an Equal Opportunity Employer, dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workforce and providing a workplace free from discrimination and harassment.
