• Serve as the QA lead for assigned GMP-related activities including quality oversight of CDMOs, tech transfer, scale-up, manufacturing (cell bank, DS, DP, FDP), and disposition of clinical materials • Quality reviewer and approver for quality records such as change controls, CAPAs, deviations, temperature excursions, product complaints, expiry/retest, stability protocols/reports, master batch records, method qualifications, etc. • Collaborate with CMC, Supply Chain, Analytical Development and Program Management to ensure on-time delivery of products and compliance with all relevant cGMP regulations and guidelines as they pertain to manufacturing and supply operations • Supports archival of documents/records, quality metrics and develop/maintain QA related tracking logs • Work directly with operating entities (internal and CMOs) to ensure that product(s) meet all required quality standards and specifications • Supports management of Quality Agreements, including project coordination, cross-functional review, and approval workflows • Represent the Quality function in product development (CMC) teams to provide proactive quality guidance and decisions • Influence other functional departments to ensure that CMOs achieve and maintain the appropriate levels of GMP compliance and provide the highest level of quality services to Jade • Lead quality risk management activities to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate GMP-related risks across manufacturing and supply operations • Facilitate resolution of quality issues with internal and external parties in a timely manner • Coordinate communications with CMOs and internal technical product teams on quality issues • Review CMC sections of regulatory filings, as needed • Collaborate cross-functionally with CMC, Regulatory, Clinical Supply Chain, and Program Leadership teams to ensure quality is embedded across development and manufacturing activities • Participate in and support regulatory authority inspections and internal audits • Supports development/maintenance of Quality SOPs • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive team-focused company culture • Other duties, as assigned

Role Description As a Senior QE Lead, you are responsible for ensuring software product quality through the design, execution, and documentation of manual and automated tests within the QE organization. You will work cross-functionally to improve the quality of our software, and do so with clear communication, efficient program planning, and deep focus on overall project execution. You'll play a critical role in ensuring that Airbnb delivers high quality products. - Be accountable for planning and execution of the QE team's priorities. - Work with QE leadership to define, launch, and execute multiple strategic and operational initiatives in service of the above priorities. - Ensure quality is consistent across all projects and is represented during project planning, development, and launches. - Drive the adoption of automated testing as a key strategic lever for ensuring efficient and effective testing. - Clearly communicate program status and progress to large groups of project stakeholders and senior leadership. - Effectively manage change by influencing and communicating with key stakeholders. - Anticipate risks associated with change management, and ensure creative and effective mitigations are available. - In collaboration with Product teams, identify opportunities and advocate for product improvements and/or tools that support the team's strategy and the needs of the customer. - Work to quickly become well-versed in the engineering team's product/domain space. - Coordinate and collaborate with 3rd party vendors and QE counterparts. - Regularly assess project risks and opportunities. - Leverage best practices and continually drive process improvements, but work creatively to drive execution and simplification. Qualifications - 10+ years of software quality assurance experience, with a proven track record of quality delivery. - Experience with partnering with Quality Engineering teams to help advance test automation. - Strong people leadership skills, including hiring, performance management, career development, and building a strong, happy team. - Proactive communication and interpersonal skills; strong stakeholder management. - Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, managing ambiguity and uncertainty. - Ability to anticipate risks & issues and proactively mitigate them. - Experience using collaborative project management tools and processes (e.g. JIRA, Asana, Smartsheets, Google Docs, scrum, agile). - Passion for building and delivering high quality software. Location This position is US – Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. While the position is Remote Eligible, you must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity. Benefits - Base pay range: $132,000 — $154,000 USD. - This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
